They did. New FCV? Not sure and only time will tell.

Are parents really pulling their kid mid season and paying pro rated fees?

Crazy.

Guessing the destination clubs may not be charging the players for the spring so they’re probably just losing what they paid to FCV in order to get their player card released. Just a guess. If not, then I agree with you that that’s just stupid. But it *is* Northern VA so nothing would surprise me…

They don’t need a player card.

ECNL and GA are different carding organizations.

A payment system, yes.

Two different sanctioning bodies. ECNL and its non compete amongst itself is only for ECNL, pretty sure it's vice versa with GA. Unsure if GA even has any stipulations regarding tryouts and player movement between clubs like ECNL does.

Although I have heard of players joining one ECNL club and then joining another mid season. Imagine paying two clubs in a single 10 month season, but it IS northern VA with lots of disposable income.

Mid-Atlantic ECNL seasons are essentially done at this point, so no one is jumping "mid season" at this point. Most likely positioning for next year.

Yeah, who is jumping ship for nothing at this point unless you're U13/14 but even then it's pointless.

In parent meetings for pre-GA teams, FCV said DC from BRYC is new age group director for U8-U12 teams and will coach one team (U12 possibly). He reportedly has been at BRYC for a long time (10+ years), but there is very little about him online. Any views on him as a coach for those younger years?

Got any initials on the new DC from BRYC?

Is it TM?
