What's going on with FCV GA?

TM? He has not typically coached the youngest girls.

My daughter guest played with one of his teams. Nothing horrible or special from that limited experience.

Dan Caracciolo?

Kids jumping ship now will be the same kids jumping into portal because they don't get playing time. Round and round we go, where they stop, nobody knows.

Underlying question is where should FCV’s pre-GA players who aspire to play GA or ECNL go next season if they don’t make the first team at McLean or Loudoun?

Is that the player that was always complaining?

I’d add SYC to McLean and Loudoun. Those three clubs clearly have the strongest girls teams in the DMV for the pre-ECNL years. BSC used to be part of that group but has fallen off the last two years.

So what. Winning a GA national championship is like winning Jeff cup. No one cares.

Recruiters care.

Being on a GA team that wins the national title mean full ride scholarships for a large percentage of the players.

Or, you can get worked at ECNL events that are dominated by California and Texas teams. Maybe your kid will get noticed for how well they lost to Surf or Solar. 🤣
as an ecnl parent lmao this is so tru…first club that ponies up for an true indoor facility might give va something to be proud about.

Recruiters do care about the platform. They’re not oblivious about the difference in levels of competition. Winning a GA national championship does not mean more scholarships. Winning ECNL doesn’t either. It’s sad how much fake news is on this site.

Isn't that what TSJ has in Alexandria. Why isn't ASA more ambitious. A partnership is on the table for an indoor soccer facility, with the ASA futsal culture in place all your missing is a legitimate girls product and in the process bolster your MLSN boys in the process. Have ambition or deeper pockets ASA

TSJ rarely allows their GA teams to use the indoor field in Springfield. That's more for them to rent out.

sad but entertaining. My DD may do
Some summer moonlighting in other regions just to see how the better teams w year round approach their practice and prep.

Dmv has too many teams. If there was more consolidation similar teams to odp all of the leagues would flourish.

Buuuuut $$$ u know… gotta get that $$$

Sounds like excuses, again where is the ambition. Y'all act crazy on here but no one is that committed clearly

FCV is like TSJ's side gig. They don't care about the outcome of the program.

Ambition doesn’t build indoor turf fields.
