MOCO BOE update: Beidleman Report summary

I'd love to be wrong about this, but I do think not much will change.

McKnight keeps here job (somehow) and innundates staff with even more trainings, surveys, whatever.

The BOE will continually coast by on the apple ballot. The fox guarding the hen house.

I think it is a positive that the Washington Post brought all of this to light, and maybe a few people have opened their eyes to what MCPS has become in the last 20 years. The reputation of my youth (I'm 42) is so, so far gone.

The apple ballot isn't the be-all, end-all. It didn't endorse any board incumbents last year, and two were reelected anyway.

I think principals are only allowed to bully staff with over time hours, no support, oversized classes and non renewal threats. Sexual harassment goes too far.

You are not doing Monifa any favors. You just make it clear how cultish and warped her advocates are. They are willing to throw out morals, any sense of right or wrong all in the name of holding up their friends, no matter how poorly they're performing at that their jobs. It's sad and pathetic.

Biedleman isn’t going to be fired much less McKnight. They know how to control the system.

Biedleman isn’t going to be fired much less McKnight. They know how to control the system.

In fact keeping them helps them maintain control over the system because it discourages complaints.

Most of these posters are foaming at the mouth over this simply because they hate the idea of an AA woman super. It's hard to take seriously since this happened years before she was in even super.

Including the three years of complaints about Beidleman that MCPS received while McKnight was Superintendent.
