When people tell you who they are, believe them. |
There was an entire section that talked about when the person in question was under 17. The part none of you are failing to see (I don’t know why - it’s right in the document you posted) that in emergency situations, there is more discretion, and this girl qualified due to age. Also, it was stated in the hearing that the ‘prevent serious risk … ‘ clause would have also applied. To state outright that there is no flex in the law is media hype. As I’ve said, because it’s a new law, the hospital lawyers seemed to be unclear. Their job is to protect their physicians and facility since the liability falls directly on them. Lawmakers need to clarify things with these facilities. The girl did not have to undergo surgery to induce abortion in Indiana so the pregnancy was indeed early. I’m glad adults were on the situation and as able to bring the rapist to justice. |
How odd that you are unable to post it via cut-and-paste. |
There is no such section. If you believe there is, please point to the page and paragraph. |
Link to this section. Go ahead. Try to find it. I can’t prove a negative. I don’t know if you are a moron or a LIAR. Verify something for yourself, for once. And link to so everyone who has read the law can learn. The LYING HAS GOT TO STOP. The only section dealing with minors is about parental notification and judicial bypass. |
| Omg this poor girl. Could you imagine being 10 and pregnant and having national media coverage about it?! Horrifying. I feel terrible for her. |
It’s just a lie. This poster is an incel troll who making shit up to upset people as a way to vent his rage about what a life’s loser he is. |

Nothing will change until white Christian Republican women start dying in droves. Y’a know, the adult daughters of these legislators. Hopefully that happens quickly so these dimwits change the law quickly.
Yes, I am hoping for quick high-profile deaths of white Christian Republican women. Why? Because Republicans always fail to do the right thing until it affects them. If you are a woman of color who needs to give birth, please try to do so in another state where you will get proper care. You are NOT safe in Ohio and much of the South, |
The state of Ohio should have to support her and her parents for the rest of her life, at a five star resort in the Maldives. Absolutely sickening that SCOTUS allowed this kind of thing to happen. |
Let’s hope the poor girl is just sitting on the couch watching her favorite shows and re-reading her favorite books. I have no idea what kind of life she has, but I hope only the best for her future. |
I thought the testimony given was that abortion would have been ok because the child would have met the physical damage clause of the statute? |
God you really think people are stupid. A quick Ctrl+F and searching "17" brings up 27 instances of "17". NONE have to do with age. Also, the woman in yesterday's hearing flat-out lied. Just because she said the ‘prevent serious risk … ‘ clause would have also applied dpesn't make it so. Please just stop with your disinformation. Maybe you are true believer or maybe you are a troll. Either way, your disinformation is hurting people and is easily discredited. |
They still won't care. They'll make those women into martyrs. Nothing will change until we VOTE MAGA REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE. Nothing else. |
