I'd like to be able to appreciate you post, but who is the "left" in your scenario. You are still generalizing to a whole group of people. |
Did we talk about this?
Charlie Kirk suspect was in romantic relationship with transgender roommate https://www.axios.com/2025/09/13/kirk-suspect-transgender-roommate |
An online community egging him on to Commit murder is more relevant |
He could hate himself for various reasons. He could suffer from delusions. There are countless factors. |
Couldn’t he just step away from the computer? His parents willingly and proudly taught him to shoot, gave him guns and ammunition. |
I was explaining to a Puerto Rican cab driver how things feel on the mainland in February of 2025. I said things were getting so heated, I didn't see how we could avoid violence. We both hoped I was wrong. I wasn't. This violence is a natural outcome of way overheated rhetoric that is primarily violent online and spills into real life. I feel like, when I was a kid, there was still some political violence that was a spill-over from the 60s / 70s violence. For example, the Greensboro Massacre by the Klan in 1979. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensboro_massacre But now it feels like we're entering a new phase of post-Covid political violence fueled by isolation and the fact that some peoples' main lives are online. Both eras were dangerous and led to political violence. We came out of the previous era of political violence because of a consensus that the restoration of good governance was key to the continuance of our democracy. There was a mainstream consensus. Church attendance was higher. Right now, I just don't see how our current political leadership is capable of leading us towards a better, more civil future. |
read the news. yes lovers. https://www.thetimes.com/us/news-today/article/charlie-kirk-suspect-tyler-robinson-roommate-trans-relationship-65wvslwr8 https://nypost.com/2025/09/14/us-news/charlie-kirk-assassination-suspect-had-furry-fixation-trans-boyfriend-proclaimed-support-for-bidden/ https://www.wionews.com/photos/was-charlie-kirk-s-killer-tyler-robinson-living-with-transgender-partner-lance-twiggs-utah-governor-makes-big-revelation-1757871464138 |
But the ever predictable gay lover didn’t put the gun in his hand and make him shoot. |
"Cox, the state governor, has said the suspect had a “leftist” worldview. He told ABC News that Robinson came from a conservative family, “but his ideology was very different”. He said: “We do know that the room-mate is a boyfriend [of the suspect] who is transitioning from male to female. I will say that that person is very co-operative with authorities.” He said the flatmate had no prior knowledge of the shooting and was shocked when they found out about it." |
DP but the truth is, those internet/gaming memes on the bullets would make me think they need to entertain all possibilities. This administration has no credibility and the FBI is basically working to affirm whatever Trump wants them to affirm, so we will only hear about anything they can trace to leftists or trans communities and they'll suppress the rest. Most likely this kid's motives aren't political at all but a mishmash of influences. He may be the product of extremism on both the far, far right and far, far left down in that internet hole he was in. i doubt we'll get the full truth from this administration. It wouldn't serve Trump in his quest to authoritarianism and quashing all people he stand up to him. He already made the call with his first post. Now they have to prove that narrative for him. |
did anyone expect this twist?? |
Ok, put them in for a medal for helping solve the crime. Thank you Trans hero! |
I mean, I didn't. Back in my day gay youth just killed themselves. |
It’s the narrative Trump and TP need to make money, so sure. |
It isn’t. It’s been confirmed that they were there. Even protestors that were there said they were. |
