Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

"Reddit, ooga booga, that's like the dark web" - clueless old person

"Furries!" straight from the bullshit narrative the right wing pushed about "liberals are putting litter boxes in public schools for students who identify as cat gender"

FFS... It's hard to take anything the right says seriously.

I was thinking about responding too. It’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read here. Transgender people talking is so dark. Anime fans talking about anime is so dark. What I’m seeing here is literally someone scandalized by people not being clones of her.

They took him to the hospital in a private vehicle. They didn’t have medics or an ambulance there. He was taken to Timpanogos Regional Medical Center. Sadly, he was most likely dead at that point. I think he died within a minute or two. I think they brought him, pronounced him deceased, and then got the news he had died.

Who pronounced him dead, what doctor?
What was the time of death?
What was the ultimate cause of death?

These are routine facts that should be known at this point.

Undoubtedly these facts are all included in the coroner’s report which is in the possession of law enforcement and will become public as necessary.

As somebody who unfortunately saw the closeup video of Charlie’s murder and who has medical training, I can tell you that I knew immediately he was a goner because the shot blew out his carotid artery and he was literally spewing blood out the side of his neck like a fire hose. I suspect he bled out within a minute or two at most. He died before he got to the hospital the pronouncement was just a formality.

I hope you’re not suggesting some kind of conspiracy around his death. He died on video on social media and there was nothing pretend about it.

I don’t think that guy was the real shooter. That shot was too clean to come from some nobody. He’s the patsy

I wonder if the recent Catholic school transgender shooter was also chronically online. His ex-girlfriend was also a furry. I think it is important to look at what young boys are doing online and what sites they are visiting. Frequent porn viewing is also a huge issue as well. It is creating brain rot and degenerative behavior in some of these boys as they consume more and go down darker paths online.

It’s by design — and it’s not just boys. Girls too, even Billie Eilish confessed she was addicted to super dark porn and it ruined her brain. There are interviews of porn purveyors boasting they sprinkle in more and more deviant porn into kids’ feeds. It’s literally digital grooming.

Do you think you will keep your job. I'm 100% sincere in theese questions. You are just bald face lying at this point.

If you are talking to me, I can assure you that I will keep my job. I have not told one lie. You, on the other hand, claimed that the shooter is a member of the trans community. He is not.

I am not sure that any of us can comment on his sexual orientation. He is romantically involved with someone who apparently identifies as a woman. To my knowledge, there has been no authoritative publicly-released information about his sexual orientation.

The Governor of Utah said that the shooter was influenced by left wing ideology. So, you can hang your hat on the fact that a CIS White male influenced by leftist ideology killed Kirk. Then you can continue your attempts to suppress the speech of folks like me. Does that satisfy you?

I'd continue to discuss this if you weren't so disengenuos, dishonest and defensive. You know the shooter was a gay lefty. I know that. Everyone knows that. You know we all know that.

It's like you're hiding from the truth. We see that. Since you own this joint, I'd like to see you have the integrity to come back and apologize for being wrong when even the left wing media concedes the shooter was a gay left wing freak. It's coming and you know it. Because that's what it was. It's just a matter of a few days.

Mixing incorrect information with insults is not going to strengthen your argument. To the contrary, if you must resort to ad hominems, it suggests that you are out of facts.

I agreed that the Governor said that the shooter is influenced by leftist ideology. Anything beyond that is speculation. Anything about his sexual orientation is speculation.

You want me to apologize for being wrong but you refuse to acknowledge, let alone apologize, that you wrongly described the shooter as trans.

Jeff, with all due respect, I am not sure the Governor understands the difference between "leftist ideology" and the likes of Fuentes and Loomer. There are mainstream republicans, like a PP in this thread, who just assumes anyone who is gay or trans are also lefties. And that simply isn't the case. It will really take a search through his internet consumption and posting history to really get at the root of who he is and what made him tick. And frankly, i don't trust anything coming out of the FBI right now.

I would add that the governor is still probably misinterpreting the scrawlings on the bullets. He is interpreting the fascist thing literally instead of accepting these are gamer memes that may truly point to this guy having completely non-political motivations.

The inscriptions are probably meant ironically or to be misleading. The one used to kill Kirk was about noticing a bulge and another about being gay. Both wool theoretically apply to Robinson. I don't think we can divine anything from the inscriptions at this point.

Hahahahaha… If the inscriptions were about MAGA you’d take them as gospel. Look at the twists and turns on this thread alone as the killer went from Left to Right to Left. Now that he’s left, it’s back to "wait for all of the facts"

Does it sound normal to you that a male who is involved with another male who is transitioning would make jokes about trans and gay people? Try to stick to the content of my post this time instead of replying to the voices in your head.

The gay reference on his bullet is a frequent gamer meme.

I am still betting we will find (or have already found) that he had affection for if not direct involvement with Antifa and the Trans community!

It’s so scary. Back in the day, we saw Muslim youth being radicalized in this way. Middle class kids with seemingly stable home lives would up and join Isis. You would see those stories and wonder what the heck happened. These were not your typical suicide bombers with nothing left to lose. They had bright future ahead of them. And now we are seeing this same type of radicalization across races. The ideology is irrelevant. The isolation, the hate, the cycling into despair- those are the common themes. Apparently our young men are susceptible.

It has a lot to do with feeling othered or having others guilt or resentment pushed on to you. I think some white men feel othered or out of place in the dominant society due to messages of demonization or white privilege/straight white males being colonizers or evil/the patriarchy. Muslim males also have a similar issue where they certainly are othered and demonized. Same with black men. Even with trans.

When you’re thought to be “the problem”, you tend to internalize that and act out.

Women/girls are not demonized the way men are

Interesting, I don’t know if you remember prior to the internet and social media, we had ‘others’ who actually didn’t all turn into psychopathic killers. They just went along with life being the ‘other’. People were more apt to converse with them because the internet wasn’t telling the rest of us how to be and what type of person to engage with. We were free.

You can directly link the rise of white male violence/mass shootings to the election of Pres Obama. That’s when the mass shootings started to spike in this country.. it was like instead of 9/11 we got lots of random mass shootings instead. Maybe it’s related to the rise of tech and not just Obama but it all started then. The perceived “loss of control” or becoming the “minority/marginalized” group doesn’t have to be real to be believed. There are apparently men that believed it.

Lately, during the Trump admin, we have seen the rise of a few apparently trans shooters. That’s no accident either. They feel they are losing control.

Obama and/or more likely the internet.

This is false. There was no surge in mass shootings when Obama got elected. However what did happen is that there was more coverage of mass shootings, which created a perception of a surge, along with a lot of rhetoric that Obama was going to confiscate everyones guns. Skip forward to the present and the reality is that Obama confiscated 0 guns and it was all hyperbolic nonsense from the right wing. As usual.

I don’t remember any mass shootings from the Bush years with the exception of Virginia Tech and the dc sniper

Mass shootings really intensified with Columbine which was mid 90s. The internet was in its infancy. Prior to Columbine they were really few and decades between.

Mass shootings and school shootings were not a thing until our politicians let the assault weapons ban expire instead of renewing it. We reap what they sowed.

The left and right crap is just culture war bullshit. This kid has probably never even voted before. Just turned himself mentally ill going down dark internet rabbit holes the last 10 years.

How do you feel about racist dog whistles and unconscious bias?

I mean, we were expected to take that stuff seriously for the better part of the last decade and a half. So your protests now are hard to take seriously.

We haven’t heard anything yet about his experience with guns.

Did he hunt/target shoot as a kid?

Was he trained by antifa?

He was killed on camera. No one's family deserves to have to witness that. It's unthinkably cruel that people would then go on the internet and use their platform to say about an innocent man that "I don't care that he's dead." "He's not a hero." "He's a scumbag." "He shouldn't be celebrated."
I'm talking about George Floyd. You thought I was talking about Charlie Kirk? No, those are actual quotes BY Charlie Kirk about George Floyd. Outrageous that anyone would say that of the dead, right?

The fact that the note left by the alleged shooter remains under review for accuracy and verification is about the biggest red flag imaginable that this kid was NOT on the side of the aisle that the current administration desperately wants him to be … otherwise, at the first indication that his own words provided them with “justification” to continue the rampage through our Constitution, they would have been off and running for the pitchforks.

That doesn’t forestall the possibility that they will bury the note with distractions and other shenanigans, but I think 48 hours of examining a note with the loose lips on their freight train makes it pretty obvious that the words are not being met with feverish glee.

The shooting of Charlie Kirk was not a mass shooting. I guess technically it was a school shooting because it occurred on a college campus. It was a political assassination like those that occurred in the 60s.

The shooter was not trans. He was a cis White man. These are known facts that have been publicized all day. Is there any reason that you are struggling with them?

Being cis and White doesn't make you a Republican.

Having a roommate who is transitioning doesn't make a lover or a reason to kill.

Having a trans roommate doesn’t mean they were lovers. They could have been friends prior and then Lance decided to transition possibly. It doesn’t mean they were in a relationship.

It has been confirmed by the FBI and the Utah governor. Geez you people are in such denial.

It’s not denial, it’s indifference.
