“Eliminating guns” is impossible and a distraction from looking for how people like this and other killers might be identified before they act. There are illicit guns in Japan, an island nation with a long history of disarming the population to make them easy to control.

Reducing the number of guns out there is very possible and every other developed country has done it.

No and that’s a very fair point. The latest I read is that they are investigating many more people in this internet/ trans community that may have known about this. But he was the one who was willing to carry it out.
