I would argue that Biden had one of the most consequential presidencies in the modern era. Despite all the right wing BS, he righted the ship after COVID and left the strongest economy in the world; he got substantial green infrastructure investments; started the process of getting manufacturing back and restablished the US as a global leader on foreign policy. Those are all facts. |
He loves chaos on Biden 's watch and on his. His first presidency was chaotic. This presidency is already presaging to be chaotic. Love to see it? I don't, but maybe you do. |
Way to change the subject. But voting for Harris in this election doesn't work well for your "Republicans and Democrats are all equally bad" schtick. |
Oh hell no! If the Rs can’t so much as elect a speaker that’s on them. How about Jeffries agree that they out the original CR up for a vote and enough of his caucus vote to pass it. |
This is what you voted for, MAGA - complete dysfunction. Unfortunately you're dragging down the rest of the country with you. |
From the NYT:
Other lawmakers exiting the [Republican] session said they expected a one vote on a government funding package, disaster relief and payments to farmers, minus a debt ceiling increase that caused Republicans to oppose a similar bill on Thursday. How is this different than the previous compromise bill that Musk scuttled? |
Yes, thanks Biden for funding the ongoing wars with no end game, the 40% approval rating, and screwing the country by gifting the 2024 election to the even more unfit Trump with your pea-brain shenanigans. Very consequential indeed. Thank Biden for giving us Trump during these tumultuous next four years. |
I bet it doesn't include the restrictions on investments in China that Musk was worried about. |
I love the Biden is letting MAGA hang.
They were bleating about a mandate. Look how incompetent they are. They want the dems to save them. |
It better include that. |
Nope. Biden has one vote just like the rest of us. No one made you and 49% of the voters choose Trump-Vance. You own that all by yourselves. |
There's a plan, there's a plan
(needs a 2/3 vote - so needs Dem help to pass)

Musk may not want those but Congress does. Both Rs and Ds. |
They really showed those pediatric cancer patients about personal responsibility and pulling themselves up by their bootstraps |
Those were the major spending items in the prior agreement was, so I suspect they took out the policy riders, such as the China investment restriction, to appease Musk. |
