St. John’s is a work in progress. They will get better as the season goes. New coach with several inexperienced players. |
Wait, I thought once they fired the previous HC they were going to go undefeated and win a WCAC on Military Rd no matter who they hired because they had all the talent, but she was just not playing them. |

Sssas won 17-7 against St John’s. |
No surprise there. Very experienced and older team against a younger squad. SJC will do well in the WCAC. 7-1 or 6-2. |
GC is going to smash the WCAC. Can’t see them winning by less than 10 in any game. Only challenge will be from the top few ISL teams. |
Prediction.....GC will lose to an ISL team this year. |
Prediction......no they will not. |
Which one? SR or SSSAS? |
SJC loses at least 3 in conference, and they will start the season off at least 0-6. |
it has already been said that they don't play SR this year... |
WCAC is definitely weak and weaker this year from top to bottom. GC not nearly as good this year without the generational NW player. Ireton-PVI-SJC all considerably weaker this year than last. Predicted order of finish -
1. GC (wins another but albeit with a much weaker team and in a much weaker conference this year. We will see how much weaker in their non-conference schedule). 2. Ireton - (A little more experienced than the two below) 3. PVI (Coach will get the most out of his girls and they will definitely play hard) 4. SJC (Not very good but better than the rest of a very weak conference). |
No dog in the fight here as daughter is in the college ranks, but the ISL is deeper than in years past.
Between SR, Visi, Potomac, and SS/SA, all four teams are better than BI, PVI, and SJC this spring. We will find out soon if GC is in a league of their own in the DMV this Spring. |
PVI went down to FL and came back 0-3 and were blown out by 10 goals in 2 out of the 3 games. |
