Yes, thank you! I was wondering why I see no media fact checkers on this stuff today.

Media knows DCUM is on the case.

At your service . I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know what's been covered but I can do many more - the titles and the Letters Patent, Charles' plan to slim down the monarchy which he's been talking about since the 90s, how the taxpayers pay for security, the British media coming out in droves to say that Buckingham Palace has shut down many, many stories about M&H (some of them because they weren't true, some that were true), etc. etc.

It is cute how you found these photos but I think its entirely believable Harry was not intentionally lying. I remember nothing pre age 6/7 and he could very well have zero recollection of this and have never seen the picture.

+1 also there is a difference between every once in a while getting to go on a bike ride with your parent, and it being a regular part of your life. clearly, that was what he was saying - that it wasn't a regular part of his life, and he wants it to be. also clearly bike riding isn't a literal thing - it's a synecdoche for ALL the ways that he didn't get to have a normal childhood, and how he wants his kids to have that.

It's well known (at least here in the UK), that Charles pushed Diana to go to therapy, that William and Harry went to therapy after their mother passed (they've both spoken publicly about this), that Kate went to therapy with her brother when he was very depressed. Meghan said that she told everyone and no one was willing to help. Harry then said he told no one, not even his family. She couldn't have called up her OBGYN to ask for a referral? A private doctor? Harry's therapist? It makes no sense to me.

YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diana before leaving was in all kinds of therapy.

Yeah but the Diana thing was a bit of a fiasco for them. And it was years ago. It's not implausible that they would take a different approach. Also, Meghan wasn't asking for therapy sessions. She was asking to be inpatient for suicide.

Oh please, the monarchy is not coming to an end because of something an American gold digger who feels snubbed said to Oprah (and Oprah clearly didn't believe it).

They are running out of money and Charles will run it into the ground with his tramp.

LOL. The real estate Charles alone throws off enough income to pay for everything. He paid for Harry’s security after Canada refused to do so

The monarchy will go on without these two quite well. Kate doesn’t need to have more children for interest in Harry to fade.

You truly think all your comments about Meghan are just that, not clouded by decades of being conditioned to view women, particularly Black women, as hysterical, irrational, and playing the victim.
I am saying this with all honesty and well intentions; please, please look into what racial bias is and how you are unaware of it. Once you start realizing what it is and how it manifests, I am hopeful that many here will realize that they truly didn't know they were engaged in it.
Because you were conditioned to think you are just telling it like it is.

But, racial power structures are so ingrained in the culture that you truly believe you are not saying or acting in a racist way, even when you are.
Even BBC is acknowledging that this must be addressed, but not the majority of white dcum.

Eh, no one views, for instance, Oprah as hysterical and irrational. Or Michelle Obama. Or Condoleezza Rice. You know, actual black women who have accomplished something and conducted themselves with dignity.

WTF are you talking about. Michelle Obama was portrayed as an angry black woman constantly and there was a ton of prejudice anti Oprah, the obese at the time black woman, as she rose up. I remember it quite well.

And don't forget how the talking heads lost their minds and labeled Michele Obama uncouth when she put her arm around the Queen, even though it turns out that the Queen didn't mind and had a warm rapport with MO.

I can't take the credit, someone else posted them online. I just think it speaks to a larger issue - he had absolutely no problem with his life when he was stepping into the VIP entrance of Boujis every weekend, or getting naked in Vegas, or when his teachers fudged his grades for him, or when he had access to some of the finest educational institutions in the world. In fact, they had the best of both world for a while. Diana took them to theme parks and McDonalds and toy stores all the time. I'm sure that changed when she died but he sure took advantage of the privileges his position afforded him. I don't blame him - most of us would. But to come back at 36 to complain about it? Come on.

As a kid who grew up rich but emotionally abused, I think you have a really weak understanding of what money actually does for people. It 1000% easily solves some important problems. But it doesn't solve neglect, or grief, or abuse.

Anonymous wrote:Did anyone else find it odd, that in this interview, with PLENTY of heavy topics like racism, questions about the baby's skin color, not dealing with mental health issues appropriately, heavy discussion on the family vs. the firm, and so on and so on, Meghan said that Kate made her cry about the f-ing flower girl dresses????

I'm sorry, I like Meghan and I'm rooting for her, but that seemed TOTALLY PETTY. I don't know why she just didn't say, when O. asked, "That is an example of a totally false tabloid story. In short, the answer is NO, I never made Kate cry about the dresses."

Answering like she did, did not fit well with the rest of the interview. It seemed like there were petty feuds and it just gave more ammo to those rumors. I found it so strange that she threw Kate under the bus like that, only to make herself look petty.

I disagree I think its an important distinction. Saying 'it never happened' is somewhat vague and can be easily forgotten, saying 'this not only did not happen, but the reverse actually did happen and someone in the palace reversed the roles in the story and pushed it out months later' says much more clearly that the firm was looking to intentionally hurt her, a point that would not have been made by 'it never happened.'

She went out of her way to not paint Kate badly here.

And yet Kate looks like a total asshole for not correcting the story. (Deservedly so)

It’s actually a great example of how the royal family wanted to blame any bad behavior by anyone on Meghan.

Kate has not control, she is a lemming and happy to be one.

This is a really good point!

Maybe they know how to support therapy but not immediate emergency suicide needs?
Maybe Harry and Meghan’s closest team members (whoever she emailed?) felt vulnerable to the info getting out?
Maybe because it came by email they didn’t think it was so urgent? I’m not sure what happened, but you do raise some good questions.

Actually, Oprah said that exact same thing to him..."Youuuuu???? You Prince Harry, royalty since birth felt trapped? She directly alluded to that. He was a party boy for a long time. Charles and Andrew were too and they were basically told to hurry up and marry.

I do have great sympathy for both William and Harry being forced to walk behind their mother's casket at 12 and 15 in front of millions. Just awful. They have both spoken out about that. I have 12 and 15-year old sons and I think of them when I see those photos from the Funeral.

I disagree. He'll see first and foremost what his father did to protect his mother and their children.

Harry and Meghan were both pretty circumspect about the worst things. If they'd really wanted to dish on the BRF, so they could have said so much more.

This would be a really good time to let the Montecito house and move to some fairly remote Commonwealth country. Find a compound and educate the children inside for a few years until this blows over. No more media interviews. He has his mom's money but both of them could get or create jobs for themselves.

.
I do think Meghan is seriously I'll. My armchair diagnosis is borderline personality disorder. Her behavior pre Harry and her current behavior supports this.

If I'm correct the least of the concerns should be if the BRF will survive and if they are racists. The biggest concern is the safety of Harry, Archie, and the baby to be and I'm not joking.. She needs help and fast .

BPD-yes, but co-morbidity is present. She definitely has 'histrionic personality disorder' as well.

Yes the longstanding pattern of cutting off friends and family members who displease her is a red flag for this. As is cutting off their SO from all ties. When someone has no friends from back in the day, and no relationship at all with family, they are the common denominator.

First off she has quite a few friends even dating back a while. Cutting off a deranged sister you barely know who bad mouths you and father who profits off your suffering and then moving away from racist in laws does not count when it comes to calling someone BPD. She is surviving and saving her life from a bunch of people who themselves have personality disorders. Suicide threats might be common with BPD, but being suicidal because an entire press core is after you and your inlaws feed you to the wolves is not a symptom of BPD. It's a reaction to a disturbed environment where you are not allowed to get help. Pathologizing a strong black woman who refuses to be demeaned is so alarming and racist.

There was no relationship with Samantha to even break off. They hadn't seen each other for 18 years before the wedding and 10 years before that.

I think more kids makes them more vulnerable to problems anyway.
Not a good idea to have more, unless one comes along as a surprise.

She lost me at "I didn't Google him" when they started dating, and "I don't read the tabloids". Please!
If you start out on such a false note, made the rest of what she said dodgy. He seemed desperate to believe the narrative; honestly, at this point what option does he have?

Why would she have to google him, when he was vouched by her friend and she knew his cousin, Eugenie? Did you google ever guy you dated? Did you do a background check on your husband? Eh. To each his own, but everybody does not.

I mean, Harry said he was ashamed (or embarrassed, I don't remember the exact word) to tell his family. What kind of man wouldn't put his wife in the car (yes, they have private cars that they can drive whenever they want) and take her to an emergency room as soon as she told him?
