Ditto. I'm reading the thread instead of watching the show, lol. |
I also loved it. And I also agree that they should do a flashback show about Zoe. |
Last night’s episode was the best story in a LONG time. I was about to quit watching the show bc I was so tired of the Randall election, Kate pregnancy... Beth has always been my favorite character and I could really relate to her relationship with her mother. I love how her real name is Bethany and I got goosebumps when she crossed paths with Randall. |
I liked it too, but once again I'm reminded that I cannot stand Phylicia Rashad. She always plays the same character - snippy and cold. And this time, she threw an extra helping of plain rude on top. Ugh. (And yes, I realize she's just playing a part, but she always comes across the same so it's pretty clear that's her own personality too.) |
Zoe and Beth are both so beautiful! |
If Beth(any) was such a serious dancer in her youth, wouldn't it have made more sense to see her keeping up with dance classes through the years? It seemed completely unrealistic that she would have dropped dance altogether, and then jumped right back into it when we saw her in the studio. Surely she's kept up with it as a hobby? |
Zoe is extraordinarily beautiful. I could not keep my eyes off of her! |
I know. I kept thinking the same thing. |
|
Same! |
I didn’t like the Beth episode at all. I love her and adore Zoe but this episode didn’t do anything for me for some reason. |
I don't think it's implausible that she dropped it. She was in a vulnerable state with the death of her dad, and then college and life intruded. She probably excelled in college and that required a lot of studying. Her studies and Randall probably supplanted dance. |
Yes, they are both extraordinarily gorgeous. I liked the episode and it was great to see her backstory. |
So who do we have to petition to get Dr. Luka on the show as a permanent cast member? ![]() |
It was a good episode, just because it was good to get away from the boring navel gazing of the rest of the season.
I know that TV shows never have realistic finances, but there's no way that teaching ballet can bring in anything close to replacing the income Beth was earning. How are they paying for their big house in their fancy suburb? |
