Why? They have early voting in GA. Surely, they can find a time that works for them.

Much of Georgia does not have great public transportation, and some areas have none at all. How are poor people without transportation going to get to the polls?

Same way they get to the market or to church or to any of the other places they go during their life.
I am sure Stacey Abrams' group has transportation available. If they want to vote, they'll get to the polls.
I think you underestimate the resourcefulness of poor people.

Where in the constitution does it say only the resourceful can vote? I must've missed that part.

Where in the constitution does it say that state legislatures determine how voting occurs in their state?
Oh. That would be Article I Section. 4.

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof

Looks like you missed part of that quote. It says

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations,

So I’m sure you will have no problem when the Democratically controlled congress overrides GAs rules with universal mail in ballots. It’s in the constitution after all...

It seems that all the posters here claiming "cheating" are unaware that state legislatures set voting laws for their state.

And the courts have the right to determine whether those voting laws are legal or not.

Georgia just proposed banning early voting on Sundays. For what possible reason could that be?

As we have patiently explained to you several times, with no response from you: it is cheating to select your own voters.

It’s also an admission that you can’t actually win because your ideas are complete sht.

Oh, wow, they just so happen to be trying to shut down Sunday voting. It probably has nothing to do with “Souls to the Polls” or anything like that.

This sure doesn’t sound like a party confident of a mandate.

That's not really your decision. Nor should it be.

+1
I would like to see, just for one cycle, what an actual honest, fair election looks like. No Republican thumb on the scale closing voting locations in majority black counties. No sudden requirement for an ID. No voter roll purges. No gerrymandering. No GOP voters voting for their dead mother.

How many seats and state houses would the Democrats pick up?

So you’re saying they can legislate a poll tax or literacy tests if they want? Or pass a law that only whites can vote? If they set the voting laws why can’t they do those sorts of things?

Some moderately good news in here...

Semi-good news from one state. How many more have had GOP end runs around democracy?

This is also good news from one (other) state

You didn't follow what happened in Nevada, did you? Lots of problems with the mail in voting. One election was thrown out (at least for a while) because of possible fraud.

Follow Democracy Docket and Marc Elias.

He is documenting all the GOP attempts at voter suppression in MANY states including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Alaska.

If it's good enough for conservative Utah, it's good enough for the 49 other states.
