So basically they are allowed to vote when they need to be at work? And can't vote early on the weekends or evenings?

I think the bill was modified since this article and now includes some Saturday hours and the option for Sunday hours but doesn’t require counties to offer them. Just like the bill was modified to allow some absentee voting despite the title of this thread which was correct at the time. But I’m pretty sure that’s what Biden was referring to when he mentioned polls closing at 5.

Some states have ZERO early voting. Georgia has early voting. And, early voting on weekends.
PP left out the part about the weekends. And, the 9:00 to 5:00 hours? Those are MANDATORY. They can stay open longer.
And, on election day, polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

One of the biggest changes in the bill would expand early voting access for most counties, adding an additional mandatory Saturday and formally codifying Sunday voting hours as optional. Counties can have early voting open as long as 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at minimum. If you live in a larger metropolitan county, you might not notice a change. For most other counties, you will have an extra weekend day, and your weekday early voting hours will likely be longer.

The GA law does nothing to limit voting. Nothing.
Seems as if Will Smith, et al, aren't aware of the GA law (as is the case for a lot of these companies expressing disapproval) since he pulled out of a state with less restrictive laws than the state he moved to........
