Its common knowledge that the covid vaccines works differently then every other vaccine? |
Well, I don't think they have thought that through. They already said they couldn't staff two systems. |
| When 5 day in person? Fall 2021. |
|
Loudoun is saying it’s fall 5 day with summer in person credit recovery. Everyone else will be the same. Pretending otherwise is just keeping yourself worked up for no reason.
Get your kids to June. That’s it. Elementary will probably make it back for Q4. |
I agree. I think it’s a mess. I guess they may have to do it concurrent to do it. |
bless you loudoun |

| Thank god LCPS already announced this----this will put the heat on FCPS. |
I am a naysayer but mostly because I have seen all of the FCPS board meetings. I know this comment is about LCPS but the unions dominate this area- not just FCPS. I really don't think FCPS will get back to the reputation they earned years ago. Any credits will be the parents with $ who go to kumon, pods etc. That drives test scores. |

I wish it would but LCPS brought back the little kids this year for awhile before closing and that didn’t put any heat on FCPS so I doubt this will either. But good for Loudoun, I’m glad for them. |
| I think the should focus on bringing kids back q4 only and start planning for this year. Q4 starts after spring break in beginning of April. Teachers will probably start getting vaccinated end of Jan- early/mid Feb. with the two doses spread out that will take us to spring break. To me this is the only realistic plan of in person school for this year. They should focus on making sure school is 5 days a week in the fall by capping class size to 18-20. |
Seems like lots of people don't want the vaccine. It's sitting around unused. |
I mean, that’s nothing new. I’m a teacher, and research shows the top predictors of educational outcomes are the education level of the mother and household income. |
