Sure, Jan. Because it wasn’t said here that DL would extend well into Q3. And you said it was a troll. |
| Children aren't getting a vaccine until after 2022, since children are low risk there is no reason to wait for a children vaccine |
No risk? Ah, tell that to my child who went in-person and infected myself, spouse, and my parents living with us. |
I agree with this. But it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. |
Did you all live to tell the tale? |
Did you read the PP post? He/she said “low” not “no”. I also have a hard time believing you sent your child in person when you are living with your parents. Anyone I know who are living with elderly have kept their kids online. That one would be on you. |
PP said "low" risk, not "no" risk. Also, adults will (or will have had the choice to be) vaccinated by fall. |
Why would you send your kid to in person if you had grandparents living with you? |
And that was a decision you chose. You could have not sent your child in to school. You don't want other people to have the same freedom you did? |
She didn’t say no risk, but low risk and there is very little worry of kids infecting vaccinated adults. Plus, while we may not hit herd immunity, immunity spread will be very low when most adults are vaxxed. |
Community spread. |
| My children will be in school 5 days come August. Come hell or high water, if we have to go private or temporarily move. They WILL be in school 5 days a week. I only regret not doing it this year. |
Exactly. Notice how PP doesn't mention anything bad happening. |
It's really none of your business. And just b/c it may not have been bad for OP doesn't mean it would not have been bad for those who their family may have spread it to. |
The point being that by fall, all of those adults could/should be vaccinated. So even if a child brought it home, none of the adults would have been infected, nor would they have carried it out into the community. |
