He's not "paying for sex acts". It's all digital.

Digital doesn’t mean it’s not sexual or immoral. Child porn is digital.

Well, and I would have two very different reactions if I found my husband looking at child porn, or found him engaged in a sex act with an actual child.

NP. I would hope so, but that's not the point... the point is sexual acts can take place with digital materials.

I'm sorry, I posted this comment without reading the whole thing and I assumed the PP was saying she would have different reactions if she found CP vs an OnlyFans sub. I had no idea and cant even fathom that the PP appears to be shrugging off CP.

The mind boggles at how many dangerously stupid and also just straight up evil people there are out there in the world. Wow.

Haha for a minute, I was like, did that person really just agree with that statement? Thank god you don’t. So many weirdos out there!

OP I would make it clear to your DH that you do not find this acceptable and let it go. Everyone makes mistakes. But if it happens again ....

The husband clearly needs spyware on his computer and iPhone.

You can’t trust someone like that. They always do it again...and often escalate. As a op said, discovery often just makes them better at hiding it in the future. Sigh...

Without serious individual therapy he will not magically change.

I was stupid for commenting without finishing reading the sentence. I just could never imagine that someone would... openly defend CP! It just.. there are no words. In my wildest dreams I didnt think that would be the end of the sentence.

Anyway... going to go throw up now! Yuck to this whole thing

Yes, I agree. I hope you are able to have this conversation with him and lay it out on the table. When you are feeling self conscious, your entire marriage and sex life will suffer. If you are not okay with pornography in your marriage, or the use of this new website, don’t be afraid to tell him. It may be uncomfortable, but having these conversations are worth it in the end.

The troll also started a similar thread in Off Topic...

I don't know how this veered into child porn. Onlyfans does not have any -- they dont' want to risk being shut down and losing all that revenue.

If you're OK with DH watching porn, then Onlyfans is basically the same thing. As for being able to "request" a performer do a certain act, a regular porn site is similar. You can easily find some video of your preferred star in just about every position.

Is your DH also allowed to masturbate, or that's grounds for divorce also?

I think you may be projecting a little bit here. I think There are many good men out there that would appreciate a wife coming out with it and being honest. I also think that When women compartmentalize and keep it all inside, that man sits there and wonders why his wife hates him and does not want to have sex or be intimate. It creates a horrible vicious cycle of constant feelings of rejection and self hatred for all those involved. Men possess the brain power to be told what they are doing makes someone uncomfortable and are able to change that behavior.

I get what you are saying, but you are overlooking some important factors. First, when it comes to family conflict, you need to understand the perspective is reality. If she perceives onlyfans to be different, than that is her reality. She is uncomfortable with certain aspects of that particular site. As a wife, she has the right to express her boundaries.
You obviously have a different perspective on marital boundaries and intimacy. Not that it’s wrong, it’s just different from OPs.

One of the defenders of the DH mentioned it.

BTW, there's plenty of "barely legal" porn on there and young girls pretending to be even younger. It's gross.

He can have Only Fans... I’ll take a pregnant woman any day of the week. SAF!

This site is one the FBI is heavily monitoring for child and human trafficking. Be mindful it is illegal to engage in any solicitation of a minor. Men seem to be unaware this is a tactic used by traffickers for blackmailing. Not suggesting your husband is soliciting, but is a common place for unethical behavior.

I don't see anyone defending it.

Depending on the STD, blindness, deafness, brain retardation, etc.

It is no joke.

WTF has this got to do with the thread topic?
