So much misinformation on this thread. I like her. I think she is funny and self-deprecating. Her dad, Bruce Paltrow, was a well-known director and producer, and yes, Jewish. She was raised celebrating Jewish and Christian holidays and she has raised her kids in a Jewish environment. She formally converted to Judaism in 2014, so obviously she does very much identify as Jewish.

Newsflash to those insisting she’s not Jewish: while her mom is a WASP, she is indeed half Jewish and fully converted. And you can be blond and also Jewish. Good grief.

The point you seem to be missing is you can’t claim people dislike her because of antisemitism when no one except you knows she’s Jewish. People disliked her long before 2014 and there are very few Director/producers who are household names and Bruce Paltrow is not one of them.
