The point you seem to be missing is you can’t claim people dislike her because of antisemitism when no one except you knows she’s Jewish. People disliked her long before 2014 and there are very few Director/producers who are household names and Bruce Paltrow is not one of them.

+1. Plus she grew up in Hollyweird, where this crazy woo stuff is normal for the upper classes. I have some extremely wealthy relatives and it's amazing how out of touch they can seem to even upper middle class people. That said, she can be a condescending jackass, which is what I think many people are reacting to. I find her somewhat irritating, but like some of her movies so it's kind of a wash for me. I don't follow GOOP though, so maybe it's worse than I'm aware of.

Agree. A PP insinuated that the GP hate was due to her being Jewish but most of us didn’t know that and don’t care. There can be reasons she’s disliked that have nothing to do with her religion or heritage.
