Husband wants a new Jeep "pickup", is this ugly or is it just me?

Gladiators are awesome. I tow a small rv with mine. When we get to our destination in the mountains or beach, we take the tops and doors off and go cruising around. The kids think it is the best thing ever.

Taking the top and doors off while driving on the beach looking for wild horses is awesome!!!

I wouldn’t take car advice from middle aged moms. They really do not know cool.

I just returned from Marthas' Vineyard and I saw several there - I mean it.

There is a large jeep population there in general to go oversand on the beach.

We have one and it has grown on me. We have space to throw the kayaks in, space for coolers, chairs, and sports equipment. It’s a fun toy and truck at the same time.

My husband has went off roading with other Jeep friends, and added a wench to the front, so he’s pulled them out when needed.

For the record, we are not Trump supporters. We just like to get out and have fun. Very outdoorsy, and can be found at lakes, beaches, or mountains.

Haha this is exactly my thought while reading this entire thread of responses.

I think the complaints come from the length, which is because they decided to make the bed long enough to be usable. Most normal crew cub pickup trucks have the short bed. You can get one with a longer bed, however, and these look "off" in the same way. However, they are way more useful. If you are going to have a pickup bed, you want to be make sure it can actually haul around stuff. So I am glad they made the decision to make a long bed.

They could've instead made a short bed like the Honda Ridgeline ore some similar horror. No thanks.

I'm a middle aged mom. And I hate it. But if my husband wanted it and I don't have to drive it, then go for it.

My teenagers make fun of Jeep trucks. They think regular Jeeps are cool, but the trucks are fugly. This opinion is not just held by middle-ages DCUMs.

Umm, if anything, your teens opinion mean less than middle aged moms. Why would anyone care what a child thinks about a vehicle? They have limited to no driving experience.

It’s okay that you don’t like the car... but the low income comment is weird. Do you know what low income even means or are you just trying to be funny?

So this car is so ugly that only poor people could like it? I’m not following.
