Funny but it's still ugly and not cool. This is definitely a middle-aged lowish income guys kind of cool.

Except they are expensive. The guys I know who own them have money.

They are generally $40-55K... not cheap, low income and not a car.

I'm a middle aged mom who drives one. I'm not looking to be cool. They are lots of fun.

Have you priced them? That’s my biggest complaint about them. They cost the same as a middling 5-series BMW. Hardly a “lowish income” car.

Honestly they’re all crap.

Actually it IS a real pick up. Under the sheet metal it’s a RAM 1500 half-ton pick up. Rear axle, suspension, brakes - all lifted directly from the RAM pick up truck line.

Tow rating is lower due to lack of RAM 1500 factory tow package and brake controller. But it’s basically a half-ton pick up.

This is the kind of car you see a lot of enlisted military buying at 12 percent APR

Not sure if that’s a jab at the car or military personnel but either way your joke falls flat.

They look trashy.

It's an abomination. The next coming of the El Camino.

You don’t know much about cars, huh?

I happen to own a Ram 2500 that I use to tow a horse trailer, so I bet I know more about technical specs than you do.

Signed,

45-year old mom who still thinks that Jeep thing is hideous

I bet you’re one of those guys who has a bumper sticker of Calvin peeing on other truck brands. How charming!

Entirely different market. And the new defender is totally bereft of soul.

I’ll bet you don’t.

Towing your dressage gelding or hunter-jumper around doesn’t mean you know anything about either El Caminos OR Gladiators.
