Husband wants a new Jeep "pickup", is this ugly or is it just me?

Anonymous
I like regular Jeep Wranglers but he wants this thing. It looks so long in person. Awkward or something, yeah?

they are awful. my friend just drove one on a long drive (only rental available) and said it was unbearably noisy and uncomfortable.

Awful! My kids make fun of them.

That is one ugly truck.

+ 1. It’s bad.
OP, will you have to drive it or ride in it? If it’s just his car then whatever.
Anonymous
My kids hate it and I love it.

I also hate the cars they like, that is how market research works.

I hate them. They are ugly. And, we are a jeep family - we have three with three drivers in the house. But, whatever, each to their own. There are lots of cars I dislike, yet people buy them.

It’s hideous.

I don't like jeeps or trucks really but I like this for some reason

they aren't the prettiest truck ever, but if you want a convertible, manual transmission truck, you convince yourself pretty quickly that you can live with it.

That is so hideous that I'm not sure the word hideous captures it.

It reminds me, in principle, of an el camino.

They're really popular and actually are awesome to drive. Sporty and bouncy like a Jeep. I prefer the manual though. I think it's weird to see Jeeps or convertibles in an automatic transmission.

Uh, why wouldn't you just get a pickup with a second row? Those have been around for a long time. If you don't like pickups, then you won't like them, but if you don't mind a pickup, then they are exponentially less awful than this mutation.

OMG! It's like the mullet of cars. It's both redneck and jeep trashy.

Well, I guess one thing is that that fugly Jeep is cheaper than the "luxury" second row pickups.
