I hate to ask this, but what club was this? Or, even just club’s colors and league so you can say without saying. |
Our club asked for $200 deposit and won't charge further payments (what they call "no play, no pay") if the fall season is delayed until the games are back. This mitigates our financial risk and we appreciate the club's effort to address the uncertainty so we are leaning towards renewing. Your situation sounds different and I can't blame you for walking away. |
My son's club has a larger deposit but it is completely refundable if they don't play at all next year. Monthly installments don't start until the kids take the field for practices. |
| Our club will not make offers till the end of the month. |
|
I’m not paying for virtual teams and will need a guarantee of a refund/decrease in tuition if more than half the season gets canceled or moved to online.
Not worth the money. |

I wonder how many kids will get the roster spots of those so concerned? Personally, I hope all of them and many of you find yourself playing on Rec or High School teams next year.

Are you planning to move to Oklahoma? |
+1 |
Nope. Just giving an example of what other states are doing. I love the plan Texas put together after reading though. Should be adapted by all states as it is well planned. |
Bethesda is pretending covid doesn’t exist for fall. |
I know, that's why we are there. They have common sense, similar to those in Colorado, Georgia, Texas, and Florida. [img] |
