Multiple states are already back training? |
and they are probably seeing a rapid surge in new cases now. |

Good luck to all the clubs getting a sufficient number of certified refs for game day. |

Soccer activities are suspended in the most states. I know that Montana is opening soccer practices tomorrow, however, all other activities remain suspended until further notice. Montana has a total of 19 active cases in the entire state. In contrast, Maryland has 32,619 active cases, Virginia has 24,017 cases mostly concentrated in Northern Virginia, and DC has 5,528 active cases as of now. We are clearly a long way from playing league games. |

Nobody is getting any $ for me for next year.
That’s crazy talk with zero chance if Fall play. I will reassess Jan. 2021. |
We will all wait with bated breath. Please let us know when you are ready to make The Decision. |

Those who pay are suckers. It needs to be said. |
+100 Their kids aren't all that so they pay out of fear. |

Or, we realize there will not be a fall season, but we have the money, want to support the club (which has been great to my DC), and my DC has numerous years left to play in the future. Not everyone is angry at their kid’s soccer club, this is a challenging time for the club and I am fine with supporting it. |
+1 I paid up front for the entire year within minutes of getting the offer. I want to support the club because I have had good experiences with them, I like the coaches, and the team. I fully realize they might not play. In other years I have donated to their scholarship programs and fund raising events. It is not about being stupid or not paying attention, it is about helping the club and coaches. If you cannot afford to pay, then don't, but don't assume people who are paying are naive. |
If your DC is playing rec and you gave them a couple hundred of dollars to support them, I can understand it. But throwing thousands of dollars to a pay to play operation, when you think is likely that there will be no season, is insane. There are much worthier candidates for charity donations than expensive soccer programs. |
