If you're satisfied with your club and you have the funds, by all means, commit. I can't see making a payment to any club, especially one you weren't satisfied with or 'on the fence' about until we more is known. I just don't think Fall soccer is in the cards. If the clubs want you bad enough, especially the younger age groups, there will be a spot. Maybe this time will also give some clubs a realty check about touting expensive clubs that don't deliver...they are mentioned in lots of DC area soccer threads these days with not so great commentary.

Our club asked for $200 deposit and won't charge further payments (what they call "no play, no pay") if the fall season is delayed until the games are back.   This mitigates our financial risk and we appreciate the club's effort to address the uncertainty so we are leaning towards renewing.  Your situation sounds different and I can't blame you for walking away.   [/quote]
