What is true is this college scouts will in fact seek out the top girls in the GA to still watch if they are in GA so in that way it really doesn’t matter what league you are in. However, how will playing in a VERY watered down league help prepare those same girls for college. Yes I am speaking to the 03/04 teams. This does matter, speed of play is very important and those players need quality matches to keep up with the speed of play that they will be challenged with when going to top D1 schools. They will in fact be trying to beat out the other top players for that starting position in college that have been playing against top competition emulating the speed of play that they will eventually go into. If I am playing in a watered down league beating teams 5-0 what does that teach my DD? This is still about developing and you can’t develop if your not being challenged. |

Dude still doesn’t know how to spell Loudoun. Lol. But 75 clubs and two NOVA ECNL clubs on the list. And LoudOUN can certainly thank the 07’s for their ranking considering they are the only team with a winning league record. No VDA, no BRYC. Again, so much Top notch soccer in NOVA being played in the ECNL. |

With recruiting budgets being severely impacted the Covid-19 economic situation, college recruiters will have to target attending events that gives them more bang for their recruiting buck. If college coaches have to choose between attending a showcase with 58 top clubs vs one with 10, it's a no-brainer which one they'll attend. It won't even be close. |

No one said VDA was a good club. They have a few good teams and the club will get their under ML & MW. We will see what happens next year. Truth still remains that FCV is the only exDA team around here in that top 100 as well, your point is stupid since you are proving that all clubs in the DMV aren’t playing quality clubs, but at lest ECNL will have 13 in there conference and not 8. Still doesn’t change the fact that you are in a watered down league now and will be playing some really watered down games. |

San Jose Drops Girls Soccer=God Bless Are We Tired of Girls Soccer Parents This and many other threads have completely gone off the rails. Get a life. If your kid is good, wonderful. If her team is good, great. But do you really think your kid or its team is good because of where any other clubs rank in an aggregate soccer ranking list? Ludicrous. Absurd. Preposterous. Not trying to convince anyone of anything. It's just a fact that the two ECRL teams near the top are also GA teams, and I don't believe it has been made clear which league gets the A teams. So dubious in the sense that it leaves out a key piece of information, that's all. |
