Been seeing it more frequently recently in a number of threads

Anyway, not sure how you would manage that. Just thought I'd mention the observation.

Where does the piling on begin? I don't want to read the whole thread.

Last night you saw some patterns around page 2-4

https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/15/877213.page

You'll see a grouping of fast and furious replies, like three or four right after one another, then a break and then they come back again an hour later with another three or four.

Could be the same person just replying to multiple thread or replying twice.

Been seeing other patterns though in other threads too.

Moderator, let me do you a favor, don't bother. There's nothing like what the PP is suggesting is there. PP just does not want to read posts that suggest it's time to look at how to protect the vulnerable communities while letting those not at high risk to get on with life. I truly cannot see how she thinks there's any concerted effort in the back and forth of those posts.

There is DEFINITELY something fishy here, who the heck calls Jeff ‘Moderator’? Definitely someone from out of DCUMLand, who seems to post more than read.

Um, the only people who know Jeff’s name are those who have been posting here awhile. Are new posters not allowed? Worried they’ll disagree with you?

Jeff is pretty widely discussed on the forums; I'm just saying it seems likely that PP is someone who is posting more than reading, ie someone maybe with an agenda rather here for actual conversation.

New posters that are coming to not discuss but instead simply spread propaganda are not welcome. And through IP addresses, cookies, and such Jeff will sort them out.

Your behaviour is troll-like. Closed mind and open mouth. Repetitive and sprawling all over as many threads as you can. Adding little intellectually besides brain farts with punctuation.

These are facts.

+ 1 That sums it up nicely.

Agree. Also the posts about seeing people going out and about and resuming normal life again. Uh, no, that is not happening.

Oh, please. You call any opinions that differ from yours, “propaganda.” It’s really beyond absurd.

Who's "you"? I'm not the PP you're responding to or the OP, but I totally agree it's propaganda and it got old a while ago. Maybe try to find a group more easily brainwashed.

Is the OP of this thread the same person who started the thread screaming about “reopeners, what number of deaths are acceptable to you? Statistics! Statistics!”

Yes, it's exhausting to read the repetitive, tired GOP talking points...at least find some new material, MAGAs.

DCUM is rife with disagreements, but people write unique statements for each response, and usually back up what they say with links.

What people don't do is copy and paste the same sentences across multiple threads spanning a variety of forums -- that's the propaganda.

Where do you see a breakdown of rate of death for "normal healthy adults".

CDC says 1% - 3% for 55-64, which is hardly elderly. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6912e2.htm

Are those all ones who so very sick and going to die this year anyways, as you are wont to say?

People in their 30s and 40s are getting strokes from COVID now. Let's see how they write that off.

hello so people want numbers with my statistics ok

As this is DCUM let's focus on the DMV and total deaths for simplicity

All stats via basic google searches

Total deaths

DC 231 assume 3/4 are older folks and/or folks with preexisting conditions 58 normal people deaths
MD 1,047 over 50% Nursing Homes 500 1/2+ preexisting 250 normal people deaths
VA 552 over 50% Nursing Homes 250 1/2+ preexisting 125 normal people deaths

For the math below I'm taking total total state population divided by 2 to find out healthy adult population

DC 58/350000 = .016% death rate for healthy adults
MD 250/3000000 = .0083% death rate for healthy adults
VA 125/4500000 = .0028% death rate for healthy adults

less than 100 in a country of 350,000,000 plus people

100/150,000,000 healthy adult people = .000067% I think I'll take my chances on that

Hey, just checking back in to clarify. I am the one who called him "moderator." I have been coming to this site for years and years--possibly longer than most of you. I have never been a frequent poster, at all. Before this lockdown, maybe 3 times in 15 years. But the insanity and small mindedness on this board has gotten to me, so I have started posting. I am NOT a troll pasting in GOP propaganda. It's what I think. I do not know Jeff at all, and it just seems super weird to address him like he's my bud.
