We do have a problem with white male shooters. Columbine. Sandy HooK, Charleston Church, Vegas, Pittsburgh. One mass shooting is too many. Why are they all white males?

My Archie Bunker FIL went on a rant at thanksgiving about trans women competing in women’s sports.

I told DH that he will not be welcome at Christmas.

There are so many examples. School children through HS learn only about minority accomplishments. The names of all historic places are changed to accommodate the new racist views. Northern European cultures are not studied at all in schools. Reading materials for schools focus solely on blacks immigrants and the Jewish religion. ANY comment other than the wonder of minorities is racist. It’s not about guns PP it’s about attitudes.

I grew up in a very very small town we were one of the few not Catholic. I was bullied, had to sing only Christmas songs and draw on Christmas trees, wreaths and Santa and Jesus. this was public school. People couldn’t play with me because I was not Catholic. Not picking on Catholics, many good friends that said I’m tired of the ultra conservative saying there is a war on whites or on Christmas!

The US is for everyone time for Evangelicals to get over themselves. They don’t get to choose for the rest of us. By the way it’s white Christian makes shooting up our schools so maybe focus on fixing that instead of making up lies.

By the way my kids public school yes Public teaches history just fine.

I suggest you take a course in comparative religions you might learn something.

No, my family voted for Trump. None of us our racist. In fact, I tend to believe that liberals, in general, do far more to marginalize minorities with their policies than conservatives ever would.

I also think that liberals attribute racist motives where none are intended. Probably because they are viewing the world through their own biases.

I think that Trump is a bull in a China shop doing a job that needs to be done that no polite person would do. He's there to get the job done and if it offends some people so what? I don't think he's racist, I don't think that he hates women. But he is no butt kisser, either, and that pisses some people off. Ooops.

Honestly, that whole impeachment debacle was an embarrassment to our country. I'm not interested in listening to mud slinging. So, I have turned off the news.
