Sad to say that you're probably right. |
Why? |
Because you don't start arguing about laws you don't like once you've been accused of breaking it. That is not a valid defense in any jurisdiction. |
Except none of those morons have license plates so it will be impossible to identify them. |
I haven't been accused of breaking any laws about dirt bikes. I'm asking why dirt bikes should be illegal in DC. |
I'm not going to engage with you anymore because you're being purposefully obtuse. |
There are a lot of traffic violations that don't get enforced in DC. Parking in bike lanes. Driving in bike lanes. Driving in bus lanes. Not stopping for people in crosswalks. Going through red lights. Speeding. Making U turns. Doing stuff on phones. Rolling through stop signs. No negative consequences. |
No. I'm asking why dirt bikes should be illegal in DC. I'm not asking why dangerous operations of motorized vehicles should be illegal in DC - that's obvious. I'm asking why this specific type of motorized vehicle, regardless of how it's operated, should be illegal in DC. |
those are revenue raisers for dc and they enforce them as much as they can |
No, they don't. Really. They don't. |
| This why we need cities. To prison these crazies without them even realizing they are incarcerated. I pity the innocents who have to put up with it. |
You must not live or drive in DC much if you think they do not. There are about 20 cameras I pass each day on my 4 mile commute. |
OK, now get out of your car, stand on a street corner, and start counting all of the traffic violations you see that aren't enforced. |
You must be very naive if you think that every single infraction is going to be penalized. |
So actually, there are a lots of traffic violations that don't get enforced. Which was my point. |
