People who vote for Johnson or Stein don't do so with the expectation that either will become president. It is a protest vote because both Hillary and Trump are unacceptable alternatives. The only other option is not to vote at all or only vote for down ticket candidates. I am hoping that Johnson and Stein will get enough votes to make a difference in the final outcome. |

We are at the point where believing Clinton is equally as unacceptable an alternative as Trump is is simply flying in the face of reality. When the guy in charge of investigating Clinton during Whitewater is coming out and endorsing her now over his own party's candidate because of her sound judgment (his words), you are exercising some serious powers of denial to throw in with Trump.
Good luck. |
Perhaps they are ignoring you? And apparently you had a rebuttal ready and no reason to present it. LOL |
Who said anything about "throwing in with Trump"? He is as objectionable as Hillary but what I am not willing to do is hold my nose and vote for Hillary because she has been thrust on us. I am hoping that millions of other voters - both Republican and Democrat - will take the same position. |
Thanks, Captain Obvious! We understand why people are throwing away their vote in some sort of ridiculous protest (like a petulant child)...we just don't understand why they would waste their vote on a moron who has never heard of Aleppo and is incapable of naming a world leader. If you are looking for a write-in protest vote, consider my 9 year old...he follows current events and has been interested in politics for years. His name is Noah. |
Please, Flowers and Lewinsky were big girls. As a feminist myself, I believe neither of them deserve to be given a pass for their own poor decisions and behavior, which had fairly obvious and known consequences. They fucked around and lost. Any fool should have been able to predict that if they're fucking around with a powerful man, they would be dragged through the mud, so why do it and act like the victim? |

Even with such a well written article, all you "open-minded liberals" still gave a closed mind. You just absolutely refuse to realize how unfit the woman is to represent our country.
Open you mind and you shall see something quite disturbing in your ideal candidate. |
I see a HUGE difference in the sexual predator of Bill Clinton and a man who married and had children within those marriages. |
Yeah, but that op patted themselves on the back for "shutting down" a republican. Like many liberals, they don't understand how pathetic their come-backs are. |
FIFY |
| Why should we care that the marriage is a sham? Should we care that Melania only married Trump for his money, and he for her looks? She's a gold digger, and he's shallow. So what? |
Right. If you ignore that he raped wife #1, cheated with wife #2 while married to wife #1, and brags about his conquests during his first marriage. Cool! Oh, and that he's been accused of rapid a child. And talks about how hot he thinks his daughter is. |

Yeah. Totally the not person I want leading my country. God help us. The middle class can't afford 4 years after such a disasterous 8 years. |
No, I understand your position. You're refusing to vote for either of the two candidates who might actually win, choosing to see them as "equally unacceptable" and so risking with your protest vote that Trump might win. Despite the complete failure of judgment and temperament that you have seen from Trump over the last week, you think he's just as good as Clinton, and even though hundreds of security and policy and military experts have now crossed party lines to say they reject Trump and are voting for her, including the living Republican presidents. "Because she has been thrust on us" is your dumb reason, which fits right in line with Donald Trump's own childish, shortsighted, and narcissistic way of looking at things. Congratulations, nutjob, maybe you might as well just set the country on fire on your way to the polls, too. |
