People who vote for Johnson or Stein don't do so with the expectation that either will become president.

It is a protest vote because both Hillary and Trump are unacceptable alternatives. The only other option is not to vote at all or only vote for down ticket candidates.

I am hoping that Johnson and Stein will get enough votes to make a difference in the final outcome.[/quote]

We understand why people are throwing away their vote in some sort of ridiculous protest (like a petulant child)...we just don't understand why they would waste their vote on a moron who has never heard of Aleppo and is incapable of naming a world leader. If you are looking for a write-in protest vote, consider my 9 year old...he follows current events and has been interested in politics for years. His name is Noah.[/quote]
