He does nothing for me and haven't seen one of his movies in ages. But 100% do not believe her at all. She is shaking him down with this accusation.

Seriously. There's not really any upside to filing a for a PO/TRO. Domestic violence is not going to affect spousal support. No custody issues. And now she's going to go through the social media gauntlet. What fun!

His mom dies on Saturday.

He allegedly hits her the same day. She refuses to file a police report. We hear nothing about it.

Sunday she's on instagram with no bruises.

Monday she files for divorce.

Thursday, after he leaves the country, she's in court claiming DV with a red mark on her face that doesn't even appear to be in the same place as the initial one.

Sounds like she spent the week after his mother died trying to shake him down and he didn't cooperate.

Depp is an alcoholic and it wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that he threw things and destroyed objects when drunk. There was the hotel incident years ago. Still, I have serious doubts as to the merits of Heard's allegations.

Among other things, she was already attempting to block him from seeing his dog for God's sake. Judge didn't go for it.

I'm leaning towards a self-inflicted injury and before folks get all indignant about it, I've seen it before. if that proves to be the case, she needs to be charged bc the damage liars do to real DV victims is immeasurable.

On the other hand, if it's proven Depp is an abuser, charge him.

A final note, he's an alcoholic/addict and he needs help. I'm sick and damn tired of watching creative geniuses die bc the corporations & hangers on who benefit from them are too immoral to say "NO."

Don't you all remember when he was dating Winona Ryder and Kate moss he was always busting up hotel rooms? His violence was very well known - it was his thing. I totally believe her and I think she's a bit out there.

Because read the articles. There was no evidence of an assault when the cops were there on Saturday night. That is noted in the police report. And why would she delete her Instagram pics from the next day once people started questioning her?

I don't doubt for one second that he doesn't still tear things up and cause property destruction. But I don't believe he hit her last weekend.

I totally remember all this from the 90's.
He made the news w/his anger, drinking, plus destroying hotel rooms and damaging property.
People usually don't change w/out getting professional help which I seriously doubt he did.
He got away with violence all the time in his youth, but now it might be time to pay the Pied Piper.

After his beloved mother passed, he probably used booze and/or drugs to cope than took his grief out on his wife.
He probably was/is in shock over losing her.

I am on the fence about who to believe here.

On one hand, I think due to his past, he does have huge anger issues plus I think he drinks a lot. Add the death of his mom and who knows what kind of state of mind he was in.

While Amber got a ton of flack for divorcing him so soon after he lost his mother perhaps she feels forced to be open + honest to clear her image.
Going against one of Hollywood's biggest stars must not be easy.

It seems Depp's game has even the cops siding along with him for they claim they saw no sign of physical abuse the night she claimed he hit her.
I mean at a $450 million worth, I can totally see Johnny paying off the LAPD.

I truly believe Depp is guilty.

The LAPD said there was no evidence a "crime" took place last Saturday evening, but didn't specifically say they saw no signs of abuse on Amber.
Of course cops are going to protect HIM.... I mean come on....

He's Johnny Freakin Depp!!!!!!!
They are all likely huge fans of his and would rather cut off their left arms than implicate their movie idol.

Fame is more powerful than ethics.
Plus Johnny will probably (if he hasn't already), pay the cops off to cover for him.
