Cat Does Not Love Me

OP your cat is trying to play with you.

Do you have feathers on a stick or a squeeky ball it can chase?

You need to play with your cat minimum 20 mins per day and get his energy used up, then he will snuggle up to you in gratitude.

Tonite kitty somehow unraveled my entire toilet paper roll. This game he is playing is getting very calculated. He waited, he waited until the roll was empty and I had to put full roll on then he watched me leave room and boom! Took all paper off! With purpose!

well if your cat is so bored they do this, then you're failing them as a pet owner. completely failing.

So you are saying any cat who makes mess with toilet paper is bored and owners have been failure to them? Because I have read this is michievious activity of the cat who can plan sneak into bathroom, bored or no bored.

Kitty took walk with me well today. The outside is very much his happy place with birds mostly being what he would like to eat, I think. He does not make for nice walking on the leash, we just stand and observe the outside things, but this brings kitty great joy.

When back inside the tiredness come over kitty with fastness but he is not giving cuddles. He IS letting me pet him with no attacking. So, plus one. There is still trying to eat my ankles but maybe I shower more? Rub flowery lotion he does not like taste of?

We will continue to nature walk and gentle petting. For my safety cereal no longer can be on top on refrigerator.

I'd try the lotion on your ankles op. Probably tastes bitter.

Sorry to be the one to break this to you OP, but w/cats it is usually hit-or-miss. Some kitty cats are affectionate, cuddly + loving.

Others....??
Well.....Not so much. Usually never.

So it's a 50/50 thing with them.

Or perhaps it could also depend on the day of the week.

Cats set the tone for almost everything. Too bad they cannot also set the table!!

Kitty has breath of the jelly bean today, not very much of tuna. Maybe he sneaked into Easter candy.

This I know because I hugged very close to my face and he let out a great large meow many times. I will call the hugs even for him stealing from baskets he should not be in.

With cats, you need to sit quietly and wait for them to come sit on your lap. Then, you may pat them gently, moving slowly as not to alarm them. Cats hate to feel confined. They must always feel free. They will sit on your lap, but most will not submit to being held. They need always to be in control. If you ever try to make the move, they will always teach you a lesson by running away. They always have to be in control, they always have to be the ones to initiate. They are the most exacting of pets, like spoilt queens, really.

In my shoe I find wet jelly bean! He is putting food in my shoe, I think, because I moved the cereal!
