What do I do?

You should have adopted a cat that liked you. They are not hard to find.
My two follow me around and sit in my lap if I sit down, I wake up with them there in the morning.

Barring that if you want a more affectionate cat stop irritating her. Don't chase her down for hugs, don't pick her up.
Get some kitty toys and play with her and give her some treats. It's not hard.

Do you not think I adopted the cat that had affections? I DID! He was kind to me at the shelter then he changed!

I do not make chase at him! I do try to hold him and give hugs but I never make chase! If I did that he would run far away.

He will not eat treats or wet foods. And of course I have toys for the cats. I know it is not hard, but this cat is not full of love.

Stop hugging and squeezing the poor thing, Darla.

My name is not Darla. You have the wrong person. And I do not squeeze this cat. I give most gentle hugs and pets but he would like me to not touch him at all.

He very often bites very mean at my largest toe and ankles with sharp teeth. Do you think he is trying to eat meat?

Yes he is taste testing you now so that when the time comes, he knows which parts to feast on first.

I will discuss with vet tomorrow. Still glaring at me from on cabinets.

How old is this cat? If he is less than a year, bring him to "kitten socialization school". Always treat him gently (soft voice, lots of treats, blink at him very slowly [you are telling him you think he is beautiful], etc. Cats learn by positive affirmation what works so be soft. Never, ever hit a kitty to punish him; instead just remove your attention or his food.

So you are saying to stop feeding him? I see. No more food until this kitty gives me love. I will now go look for cat schools. We are to leave for the vet shortly.

He is maybe 6 months of age. Old enough to show much love and cuddles and to not eat ankles.

Vet suggest for cat I give pets. He said it is okay to try to touch cat. And maybe cat is going to allow me to take him on walks because he watches the birds. This will maybe give him more love for me and let him cuddle.

We bought a cat leash, so far I have to drag him. His walking on leash is not good yet.

Maine coons cuddle. My cat hugs my arm all night with his paws, puts his head on the pillow between husband and me, he stretches out and hogs the bed. Weve tried to ferberize him but he's into co-sleeping.

This is truly one of my favorite posts of all time.

Just now this cat watched from top of refriderator and pushed full box of cereal onto top of my head. It was with full purpose and he was waiting for me to walk by. I am thinking that he was with intention to hurt me.

Now he has given purrs and jumped across my lap! But also shown teeth at my wrist.
