Clearly Canadian and Ellio's pizza is 10-year-old me's favorite meal of all time.

Lol. I remember thinking this looked AWESOME from the commercials but sadly never tried it since my folks were vegetarian.

Spam sandwiches.

No wonder I didn't eat meat for 16 years.

I remember when bagged Caesar salad came on the market. I swear to god we had a bagged Caesar salad with dinner every single night, served out of my moms Arthur Court salad bowl because Caesar was fancy.

What about fancy dinner party food in the 80s and 90s. I feel like baked brie was big. My dad would make paella or bouillabaisse when they had people over.

I had forgotten about that--we had one at least once or twice a week. They were so good.

My mom would always make a baked dish that was layers of sliced beets, layers of sauteed onions and layers of cheese and sour cream.

We mostly had homemade food (not packaged foods or "helpers") but we did sometimes have some Lean Cuisines on hand for easy meals. I remember the TV dinners too - with foil. I think we had the turkey & stuffing.

My extended family made a lot with Ritz crackers crackers though.

I still remember how Pudding Pops taste, and was sad to realize they're no more. They always had that thin thin layer of ice over them that I'd gently bite off before eating the pudding pop.

My mom always made "Olivia Salad". I'm not sure what it was really supposed to be called, or maybe it was a spin off of something else (but I know it wasn't really supposed to be called Olivia Salad). It was layered in a 9x13 glass dish: lettuce, mayonnaise, peas, shredded cheese. Maybe a couple things like chopped ham? Anybody else have this a lot in the 80s and 90s?
