Classic 80s/90s meals

Any classic meals you had as a family that you want to keep alive or meals that bring nostalgia?

My husband and I both remember fondly this stuff called "Chicken Tonight" - it came in a jar and you would sauté up some chicken and pour in the sauce and it made a meal. Our favorite was the french one, which as I recall was like a white sauce with mushrooms and peas and carrots.

I also really miss the Chicken Salad Oriental from McDonalds. That was a darn good salad.

Wendy's used to have pita wraps. The Greek one with feta was so freaking good...and vegetarian, too!

Ain't nothing wrong with Kraft Deluxe Mac and Cheese.

These might be more 70s-80s, but my parents used to make: Shake n Bake pork chops, pork chops and apples, beef stroganoff, sloppy joe's, scratch mac n cheese, and roast beef & yorkshire pudding. I think all of those have left the building. But I have such nostalgia for that comfort food!

Yes, love the jingle!

I wonder if we all would still like it now? Maybe better not to find out.

Swanson's foizen dinners. jn the foil sectioned containers. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes, bands down favorite, loved that pat of butter in those deliciously fake tasting mashed potatoes.
Tukey and stuffing was a close second.
We kids had them on saturday nights when my parents went out for a fancy dinner. We also watched love boat and fantasy island, great days.

Pop open some Martinelli's to celebrate! Champagne just doesn't measure up.

We have hamburger helper sometimes. I remember eating that as a kid in the 80's and 90's, but I hated it back then

I really like going to a candy store with my child and talking about stuff I got when I was little and then letting him pick out some candy to try.
