I love me some jello salad. My mom would make this one with a pretzel crust and a some cream cheese layers (I think...maybe cool whip? Not sure, I can't remember the flavor combo) but omg it was to die for!

LOL my mom calls that chicken broccoli stuff "Chicken Divan." OK, fancy lady. But it is good!

Anything with that much cheese is good.

OH wow. My BFF in middle school and I would always laugh about the ads for those where the knife cut through it and it made this delicious-sounding "ssshhhlik!" Sound. I miss those!

La Choy chow mein with the crunchy noodles on top. With the mini egg rolls as a side.

Chicken a la King.

Tuna noodle casserole with potato chip crunchies on top.

I liked all of the above, but I hated one of the meals we had most often: cube steak, veg-all, and instant mashed potatoes. Ew.

I have spent my adult life sadly searching for Carnation breakfast bars. I'm like a ghost haunting the breakfast isle, looking for something that is long gone.

I think all of those have left the building. But I have such nostalgia for that comfort food!

I loved shake and bake!!

Yes! My dad used to doctor them up on sub rolls with provolone and sauteed onions and peppers. Yummy.

Chef Boyardee pizza kit. We used to have that every Friday night. So good.

My mom still makes it once every few years! Pretzel crust, bottom layer of cream cheese with cool whip and confectioner's sugar (I think), and top layer of red Jell-O with frozen strawberries. Mom and I can demolish the full 9x13 pan in an hour... which is why it gets made every few years.

When I babysat in the 80s we would eat this on saltines at one house with the kids.

I'm sure I could still find it or make it but frugal grown up me thinks this size is just too ridiculously small.
