Did the Dems condemn Obama for saying that Bush was unpatriotic?

When pray tell did Obama call Bush unpatriotic?

Obama hates America. He thinks the USA causes world problems more than solves them. He thinks the USA oppresses minorities here and abroad.

I mean he's handing them nukes. Should be fun...

The only President who handed weapons to Iran was Ronald Wilson Reagan.

It's funny how they never have an answer for this one.

Oh, that's right -- that's because it's true.

Oh, right. 'Cause we've never done that.

I read it. It informed my decision to vote for him. And yes, I love America.

Interesting. You must have a very different world view. He was influenced by Frank Marshall Davis.

Ooohh, call the police. Frank Marshall Davis!! Better start drafting articles of impeachment.

I don't know who Frank Marshall Davis is. I know who Joe McCarthy and John Birch were, though, and you sound a lot like one of their followers.

Giuliani is a mensch... liberals not so... liberals in fact are on the record wishing for the data of GWB and not a peep out of the sort who post here aggrieved that a man would have the temerity and the forthrightness to speak his mind.

Me thinks liberals doth protest too loudly and I dare say its those who are offended by Giuliani's tame comment that don't love this country.

Uh, most people don't even know about piss christ.

Giuliani is playing hack in order to get an administration job as a prize if the R's win.

What makes you say that? Most educated people who were adults in the late 80's are fully aware of that piece of "art" and the NEA's role. Talk about offensive!

I am a Dem, but I had liked Guiliani for a a long time. He was a good US attorney and a good mayor. I thought he handled 9-11 well and admired his toughness on addressing crime and other problems in NYC that in the 80s had seemed intractable. Rudy is like the anti-DiBlasio and I say that approvingly.

That said, I no longer admire Guliani. He had become increasingly shrill and bigoted in his speech. Now I think this formerly rational guy has become unglued.

There was nothing bigoted in what he said. If he said that about Bush would he be bigoted or are you merely being defensive because the President is half black thus any criticism of him is racially motivated. Seems kind of patronizing on your part which may be do to some of your own inherent racism?? Seems to me the President is perfectly capable of defending himself, why do you choose to defend him based on the color of his skin??

He called a large national debt unpatriotic. Conservatives who can't read are being told that he called Bush unpatriotic.

Don't have to read--you can listen to him. You are parsing words. It is clear that he called Bush unpatriotic.

Guiliani may not have been bigoted in his criticism of Obama, but lately he has sounded awfully bigoted. I part company with a lot of people in that I think that the Ferguson shooting of Michael Brown was justified but tragic. (The NYC beating case was a criminal outrage by the officer involved.) But when I heard Guiliani in the aftermath of these incidents "debating" some African-Americans on TV and using expressions like "you people", it was just embarrassing.

When people push this 'Obama hates America', 'Obama doesn't believe in the Exceptionalism of America, Obama doesn't appreciate our European/Christian heritage, they are all making carefully worded statements to suggest that Obama doesn't belong here. And that's racist.

Giuliani like many conservative made a ton of money off the 911 dead.

Obama doesn't appreciate our European/Christian heritage

Never heard anyone state that.

Not really. It's trying to stir up xenophobia. But that's just as bad.

And by the way, Obama's election to the presidency is the foremost example of America's exceptionalism.

Do you go places and publicly criticize your family? Tell me which other president has gone to other countries and criticized the US.
