Why do we even still care about Rudy? He's just a crotchety old ex-prosecutor, ex-mayor, he hasn't even held political office since 2001. |
|
Now Jindal is backtracking on his support for Giuliani saying that he never really agreed with him and that Obama does love his country, etc ....... but he did not want to throw G under the bus!
What the Republican candidates don't need is anyone - G or anyone else - saying stuff that they have to come out and either defend or disown. It really is sort of hilarious to watch them distancing themselves as the blow-back got worse. |
And former presidential candidate. . . oh wait. |
I think Rudy has become embittered and fringey but he once was a very good mayor. And your assertion that he doesn't understand "diversity" is wrong. He grew up in the post war years as an Italian American. Clearly you have no knowledge of the experience of Italian immigrants and their children in America. |
If your notion of the so-called "progressive culture that dominates public culture" is the modern Hollywood PC culture that celebrates misogynistic rap music and transsexualism, then Rudy is not the only one who despises that. Most red blooded Americans feel the same way. |
Uh, I think you need to know a few things about Rudy Giuliani.
