Rudy Giuliani going "rogue".

What is Rudy Giuliani's play here? Why did he make these statements about Obama? http://www.cnn.com/2015/02/20/politics/politics-rudy-obama/index.html

As a side note, I have a question. I am a 44 year old AA woman. My parents did not specifically raise me to "love" America. Or at least I just don't remember as such. I don't remember any specific "Rah Rah we love USA speeches". I mean they didn't talk against USA, I just don't remember a lot of we love USA talk, it was sort of implied I guess. My Dad served in Vietnam, mom worked part time at IRS. we were solid middle class, raised in the South.

I was raised white, middle class, my dad served in Vietnam. We were raised to be proud to be American, to buy American made, buy Ford and Chevy, etc. We still do, my brothers and I. I also think Obama's childhood was a bit more unusual than most American kids'childhoods. Not that it's a big deal.

As for Giuliani, I don't know what he was doing. I found it bizarre.

Rudy's a douche. Don't give it any more thought.

Why did he make these statements?

Perhaps because he thinks Obama may not love the country??

He may be right he may be wrong, I don't know, why are you so hot and bothered about it?

Did you call Debbie Wassermanshultz rogue when she spouted her smears against Republicans and Conservatives? How about when Al Gore said GWB betrayed the nation, When Obama called Bush unpatriotic??,

It's a huge deal. It shapes his current decisions to this country's detriment.

Unusual childhood does not mean he hates America. That doesn't even make sense, when you think about it.

So his childhood was different than mine. So was yours. So?

OP here, the "going rogue" comment was taken from the link, I was just referring to it. As far as being "so hot and bothered", that's what this forum is for right? We're just talking. You seem a little hot and bothered though.

Listen, I really was curious about the concept of being brought up to "love" this his country like most Americans. I felt similar when folks were upset about when Michelle Obama was slammed when in a speech she said "For the first time in my adult lifetime I am proud of my country?" I did not have the experience of my parents making pronounced instruction regarding loving America. So it's curious to me that Giuliani uses that when speaking about Obama.

His actions do indeed suggest he is blindly sympathetic to terrorist nations, to the detriment of the American people. I believe his childhood is the cause of this blindness.

PP again. My husband was bullied relentlessly by his sibling, and his parents did little to stop it. Trust me when I tell you this has affected his decision-making time and again, affected our marriage, and shaped his personality.

Childhoods matter.

Exactly what actions? If I look at what he does to terrorist nations, it is primarily to bomb them or drone them.

Ah, a Bush joke. Y'all resort to the same low-class stuff when bested.
