I hate to break it to you, but oral and anal ARE sex.

If you had anal you weren't a virgin

18 - first long term boyfriend. He whispered how badly he wanted me in my ear and that was that. He treated me like a queen. I should look him up.

17, M. HS sweetheart. When she turned 18 before I did, it became statutory rape for awhile. No Romeo & Juliet exception in that state.

Advice to parents: don't let your kid date someone out of high school

Good advice.

I don't know...my first serious boyfriend was 19 and I was sixteen. We were together on and off for years. I lost my virginity at 19 to someone else - didn't have sex with him until I was 22 (thought about it a lot at 16-17 but wasn't ready and he was a good guy and didn't push it). My parents never intervened and if they had, it probably would've pushed me more toward him. I think it's very much a case of knowing your kid and trusting your gut. I might not let DD date someone out of HS, but it would really depend on the circumstances.

At 16, perhaps it was a technicality, but vaginal intercourse is how I defined my virginity.

16 with my them boyfriend who was also 16- not great not horrible- we were more interested in the novelty of it I guess.

Female, 17, with my first serious boyfriend, also a virgin though far more savvy than I. He was kind, and generous. No regrets whatsoever.

Does it count if it was with a girl and you later turned out to be straight? If so, 12.

26. I am hoping that I can get my daughter to at least 18 before she has sex.

OMG PP. A lot of 30 yr olds haven't done that. Seems so young!

I was young and stupid. It was a bad relationship and he took advantage of me in many ways.

Was he a lot older than you? Did your parents talk to you about sex? I'm really curious because I have a DD and would prefer she wait till she's 18. In hindsight (being 20/20), what do you think your parents could've said that would've had you wait?

He was 19 and a high school drop out. I met him in the mall. My parents didnt know he existed and never would have been allowed to date him. I went to a small religious private school and felt stifled socially by the small number of options I had for friends and he made me feel sexy and pretty in a way that boys who have known you since you were 5 couldnt possibly do. I have a strong sexual streak and didnt really know how or even want to say no. I lived in a state of perpetual fear of finding out, self-loathing, lust, and guilt. It was a difficult time.

We were together for 7 years in an on again off again dramatic relationship.

How old were you when you met him? (He was 19?). At what age did he have anal ic with you? Did you use protection always? How did your parents not find out? You must have spent so much time with him!
Every parent's nightmare I think !
