I wonder how many of the below 18 girls were losing their virginity to older guys. Seemed like the girls in my class were always dating the older guys - while it was much, much less common for the guys to be dating older girls and losing their virginity to them.
A lot of that is anecdotal and full of confirmation bias. As a teen boy, I was mostly focused on the prettiest girls in the class, and they were the ones most likely to get snatched up by the older dudes. |

Ha ha. This is all that is running through my mind when reading this post. I really just want my DD to be safe and to know that she is in charge of her own body. Don't be pressured, do it when you are ready, and recognize that any boy that you think you will lose because you are not ready is not worth it in the first instance. By the way, she is only 3 at the moment. |
