So what is everyone doing when you have a head cold and no telework?

Threads like this do not make my sympathetic to the fed workforce. This and all the threads about people with sudden new found disabilities.

The fact that we are trying to be considerate to colleagues and also get our work done makes you mad at us? Ok.

If I have the sick leave and want to take it, I will. But also, I would go in just to stick it to my boss who has enacted the arcane no telework policy. Some agencies are allowing ad hoc telework for situations just like this and if your agency isn’t then they can pay the price of listening to you hack and sniffle all day.

I get 3 weeks of PTO, so I'm absolutely going into the office.

I just go into the office, period. We all got flu at the same time recently. Shrug.

if you are sick you need to take time off your manager could be notified and you written up as a health risk

You're a child. Hope someone gets you sick when they do the same thing.

It’s too bad you can’t get temporary WFH to avoid spreading a cold, ugh.

DP. Lol my manager doesn’t care if I’m a health risk, just that the job gets done. Fed.

YOU should care if you spread your illness to other people. But you'd not have to be a petulant child first. You realize that those that you are infecting are your coworkers who are in the same boat as you, right? Not Trump.

So does everyone else, Karen.

I guess there are other Feds that are not concerned with how much scrutiny they are facing wrt in-office time and whether you are taking sick leave, etc. We seem to have the eye of Sauron on us, and are concerned with DOGE-like twits finding cause to fire us. In this environment, we are all heavily leaning to coming in sick.
