Oops PP here, sorry hit submit by accident!
Anyway all of the patients without liver problems had a standing order for Tylenol for the treatment of insomnia (as needed). The nurses said it worked well. So, I dint make a habit of it, but if I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep, I’ll take 2 Tylenol - works to get me back to sleep about 75% of the time. |

OP mentioned melatonin doesn’t help, but I’ve found different brands work differently for me.
For example, the “Sleep 3” I’ve gotten in Costco doesn’t do squat for me. But the 10mg gummie from Natrol (that I get in Walmart), cut in half, so only 5mg, combined with a magnesium glycinate capsule, works like a charm for me. |

Not the OP but wow I never heard of this! Would you say it’s better for you than Benadryl (tablets , I take just 1 if I can’t sleep) |
Why isn't that listed as a side effect of Tylenol? |
This is why I love this site. I am always learning new things from smart and knowledgeable people. I just looked this up and it’s true - I never would have known this. |
Sounds like it’s calming but doesn’t knock you out like Benadryl, etc. |
