I wake up every two hours. What do you take to sleep?

Melatonin doesn't help me, in fact it makes me wake up more (though drift more quickly). I will wake up, then pee, then lie there. Then fall asleep, then wake up, then maybe think I should pee, then pee, then fall asleep again.

The only things that help me are sedatives like Ativan which isn't really a nightly solution.

Benadryl, but I probably shouldn’t take it as often as I do either!

HRT. I could not believe the before and after difference. It made me realize how terrible my sleep was. I no longer wake up to pee, no longer wake up with soaked through with sweat, and no longer lie awake for hours at 2am. And because I’m sleeping, my brain fog has largely disappeared too. I’m in peri, 51 years old.

Vaginal estrogen for the nighttime peeing and progesterone for the sleeplessness. Changed my life.

Magnesium. I take mag citrate as I also tend to be constipated so it helps both problems.
