Just sick of working long hours for months to complete a huge project which was a success, by the way, and getting nothing for it. Meanwhile the execs walk away with all the $$ knowing it's gotten very difficult for us to find other jobs. Getting paid below market rate is better than no job at all. That's partly why we haven't been replaced.

The market for CS and programmers is over-saturated. New graduates are having a hard time. Any company hiring H1-B visa holders now is doing it solely to undermine wages. There's plenty of domestic talent for most positions in that field.

On a contract 15+ years ago I befriend the migrant workers. I showed them what we (in the US) were being paid and how they were being taken advantage of. When the whole system (2000+ programs) was ported to India,the programmers revolted and jumped ship lol. System was in a mess for months. It's rediculous how much they get paid, and they even have to work Saturdays.

Now I'm working right now, and better get back to my end of year processing. Huge mess, gonna be a long night
