But they sure showed them libruls!

It won't hurt me and we "libruls" can just sit back and enjoy our popcorn and watch the MAGAS scrounge and eke out their pitiful lives while Trump's oligarchy screws them over and over and over and over and over and over for four unbelievably miserable years of abject poverty.

The two of you need to learn how to pronounce and spell "liberals." Your attempt at humor and putdowns fails.

The failure, my dear, is you!

Not at all, my dear-- unless you mean my vote for Harris! I'm not a Trump supporter at all.

The market for CS and programmers is over-saturated. New graduates are having a hard time. Any company hiring H1-B visa holders now is doing it solely to undermine wages. There's plenty of domestic talent for most positions in that field.

+100 - go on LinkedIn and any tech job has over 200 applicants. Good luck getting a job. If you're older, you need to reskill if you lose your job. There is no training anymore. You will not even get called. Good luck making it to Medicare. McDonalds is looking good.

How embarrassing for you.

Many companies have robust operations in other countries. No need to hire anyone here or bring others here. If the work can be done from home in the US, and doesn't require US citizenship, then the job can be shipped overseas. This is no longer confined to tech. They have great managers, PMPs, accountants, etc. over there, too, at a fraction of the price.

When Musk acquired Twitter, allegedly he fired much of the U.S. citizen work force and kept all the H1 Bs. They work for peanuts and are required to work punishing hours lest the company fire them and then they are forced to return to India, Pakistan, Poland, China, etc.

Basically an H1 B visa means indentured servitude and terrible wages. All Americans should rally together to reform the program. It’s a tool used to depress tech wages.

I cannot believe this is even an argument. People are so dumb.

The MAGAs are among the many victims of the Department of Education that thought it was more important to raise the high school graduation rates than teach kids math and science. Now we have a high graduation rate and an illiterate, unskilled labor force.

It’s not hate. It’s a matter of national priorities. Americans should get American jobs before immigrants. That’s how visas work in every single other country in the world including Scandinavian countries.
+1
Let me make myself clear MAGA has elected the guy who only wants cheap labor.

Now instead of your kid that you spent 200,000 dollars are their college degree is going to be laid off and will not have a job.

This concept was not hard to see coming before the election.

Americans are not going to get more jobs order better pay from Trump Musk or any Republican you complete and utter idiots elected the con man who just sees the US treasury as his piggy bank with the guy who wants to burn the country to the ground.

Your white sons are not getting jobs and your daughters will be breeders .

Thanks a bunch
Just because you raised incompetent white children doesn't mean many people have. My kids had some scholarships to get through good engineering programs and then MBA programs. My white daughter is a breeder as well as manager of about 200 engineers and my son runs his own engineering company that subcontracts to most of Silicon Valley companies.

If you spent $200K for your kid to get a communications degree or sports management degree, you deserve to your kid live in the basement and a daughter to breed for infertile couples who did not make the same mistake she did.

My company's best IT people are in the Czech Republic and are very well paid at $100,000 a year less than I make. I am waiting to getting axed any day.

Hmmm...don't get me started. I've been in IT since 1984 and still work as an IC. I have a very bad taste for HIs. I've seen ALOT of folks who worked for companies for 20+ years, kids in college, mortgage to pay, loose their jobs due to these hires, SALIE MAE is one example. In fact in 1999 about this time of year, my contract ended abruptly and I was replaced by 3 H1. Low behold they sucked and they brought me back 6 months later to clean up their mess. I could go on and on. In 2017 I was on a contract, it was so bad, the Indian mangagers were refusing to hire H1s as a lot of resumes they were getting didn't align with the individuals actual experience.

It's the ONE thing I agreeded with Ted Cruz on, limiting the supply of H1s.

Doesn't matter. Companies still want to hire them and kick out US workers. They must be doing something right (work more hours for way less pay).

Employees that can be exploited are gold, that is what they are doing right.
