What is going on? |

This is so unfortunate. Paint Branch has been struggling with getting good, consistent leadership for years and it's unfortunate that trend is continuing with Principal Shawaan Robinson. |
It's not a bad school, but it's not as successful as it's neighboring high schools. I don't know what's with all the fuse involving the school's principal and security team, but it definitely needs improvement over there if you tell me. |
Very disliked at RM as an assistant principal too. Not responsive at all to me or my kid who has an IEP Funny enough I ended up getting a lot of help from the guy who is principal at Northwood when he was assistant principal at RM and it seems people like him there also |
| Contrary to the PP who thinks MCPS elementary school principals are the weak link, I think most of MCPS's high school principals are weak and not strong. |
There are 6x more elementary principals than high school so there may be several weak links at the lower level but the percentage would be higher at high school due to the variance in numbers. |
| Paint Branch is being turned into a MS. Teachers do not seem happy. |
| MCPS needs to go back to the old training program for administrators. They had a more solid foundation and knowledge base that is currently lacking and causing discontent for staff and fanilies. |
So teachers think Shawaan doesn't know how to evolve her management style from middle school to high school. Yikes. Where is her director and associate superintendent? Shouldn't they be guiding and coaching her? |
love this well done!

Jennifer Baker at WJ was a fabulous principal and great well-respected leader! I have had little interaction with the new/current principal, but seems solid. |
There were rumors from students at that school that the principal is going through some allegations right now, though I think it's likely false since it hasn't reached the news yet. |
Dr. Garrick at Northwood is wonderful. He's kind, genuine, likes kids, and has a good rep among the staff as well, as far as I can tell. |
Great! He's currently at Einstein for two months, supervising the principal intern. |
