You just described my experience with principals. One was caring, professional, on top of it. Another seems withdrawn, weak, and good at outsourcing problems to others. Another was a blowhard, glib, and irresponsible. Thank goodness they moved on. The last one is a rising star—knowledgeable, responsible, does a great job. Not naming the mcps school either. |

| We were impressed by the previous principal at WJ who retired. We haven’t had much interaction with the current one. However, the communication has been strong and responses positive for the limited interactions. No complaints! |

| I like the Churchill principal. He discusses specific strategies for school improvement and seems to follow through. He answers tough questions well and thoughtfully at PTA meetings and such. |
