I have mixed thoughts about Brown. My two kids both had Brown while they were still at Einstein, and they didn't seem to have much problems with him. Based on my discussion with some of the other parents with kids at Einstein, it seems like he needs to improve his leadership with the students.

Literally no one on staff likes him. There was a wave of people leaving when he came. I’m glad your kids weren’t negatively impacted.

I like John Taylor’s leadership style at Churchill. He sends weekly updates and voice mail calls, addresses hatred and inappropriate behavior directly and has a slogan called No Place for Hate. Before football games he communicates what the expected behavior is from CH students.

He left Cabin John MS when son did to go to CH. The entire middle school read Stomp and Jason Reynolds gave a zoom talk on the book. I was impressed.

Ms. Bensen? My kid had no problems with Ms. Bensen, she was just your typical principal and I didn't have any interactions or feedback to give about her. What exactly went wrong with her?

Not the HS but avoid MSs in BCC cluster.

I'm an Einstein parent and curious if you know more about why the staff don't like him? He comes across (to me) as weak but harmless.

+1
We had no problems with Mr. Brown either, but I agree with the part that his job as a principal is rather weak and low.
