Teenager posting? Educated adults use their words better.

5-10 years in many cases

Is that for ES, MS, or HS?

55 yr old published writer with a Phd in literature, actually. And educated adults don't "use their words" that's only for toddlers and morons.

Lots of turnover among HS principals lately. Beth Thomas has been at QO for six years, and she's currently the longest-tenured.

We are at QO and love Beth Thomas, although the kids are not too happy about changes she made to Red Army Generals / limitations…definitely has changed the vibe a bit during football games. The over the top student section was a huge selling point of the school, academics have been very meh (but we knew that going in and have always supplemented academics at home when possible).

LOVE the Einstein principal Mark Brown! He is very well-liked in the AEHS community (students, faculty, parents). Hope he stays!

We've also been happy with Mr. Brown at Einstein. I also like that the teachers and staff seem happy there - I also work in a school and think it's a sign of good leadership when the staff seems happy to be there too.

I think elementary principals in general are the weak link.

+1 Dr Garrick is awesome. He has been great despite the challenges faced by the move to Woodward.

+1 I would add how he led the fentanyl crisis when it hit hard a couple of years ago. He was transparent and proactive and did not hide there was a problem. He brought medical officers to PTSA and got opioid counselors available. What was best is there never was a feeling of image was more important than saving lives.

Both the previous and current at Blake are excellent - Bob Sinclair and Shanay Snead.

The previous and current principal at Rockville are not that good unfortunately. My eldest son who had Billie-Jean Bensen (the previous RHS principal before she left), was not able to really connect with the school's community and had bad security during her administration at the time + her terrible handling during the rape case that happened 7 years ago.

The newer principal (Rhoshanda Pyles) doesn't seem any better, I will give points that she does seem to be engaging with her community a lot, but I have heard enough that she is unnecessarily an aggressive person and can't take things seriously to any level. She does like to interact with the students at the school, but parents don't think of it that way.

I honestly don't know what to say about the situation at Kennedy. The previous principal, Dr. Rubens, neglected and let the school fall to a pitiful state. The new principal, Vickie Adamson, is just a big old question mark. She is a new principal and she honestly seems to be struggling in almost every arena. It's hard to say where the school is going, to be honest.
